Kettler Unix 800 cross trainer – ergonomic training at the highest level

The Kettler Unix 800 was developed to provide a comfortable, natural-feeling training solution. The fluid elliptical movement sequence is lower-impact and easier on the joints, tendons and ligaments than using a treadmill. This makes the cross trainer equally well-suited for beginners and serious athletes who wish to improve their endurance with consideration for their long-term health

Adjustable to adapt to different users

Good exercise equipment should offer the right ergonomic settings. The tread surfaces and handle heights should therefore be adjustable to accommodate users of different heights and limb proportions. The treads can therefore be moved forward or backward in three positions to give the user an appropriate distance to the console mast. And the length of the arm bar support tubes can be adjusted to change the angle of the treads and effective handle height for the user. The addition of lateral handles on the ends of the swinging arms lets users change their grip position to work different upper-body muscles. With the proper settings, users remain comfortable and can train longer for better results.

High-precision technology for lasting performance

Inside the body of the cross trainer is a high-quality induction braking system that can silently and accurately make fine adjustments to the resistance without any moving parts, thereby avoiding any wear. Whether for training modes that maintain a constant watt output regardless of the user’s speed or for classic training with direct control over the resistance levels, the Unix 800 offers a variety of training programmes to pursue different fitness goals. The watt programme allows users to select a target between 50 and 600 watts in fine 5-watt increments, making this machine the ideal choice for performance-based training. Thanks to its sturdy frame, the Unix 800 can support users weighing up to 160 kg and provide them many years of comfortable workouts.

Intuitive operation and motivating training variety

The newly developed 10.1″ touchscreen console is impressively simple to navigate and offers a clear overview of all your training data. A total of 21 training programmes including four save slots for custom interval programmes, heart rate controlled modes, target value countdowns and a watt programme allow users to select from various workout styles to keep them motivated. Via the integrated mirror function*, users can pair their smartphone with the console to view and control the contents on the cross trainer’s large touchscreen, and the compatibility with fitness apps lets users participate in group courses or travel along virtual routes from around the world in Kinomap
