Thanks to the combination of pulling, pushing and pedalling, almost all the muscles in your body are activated. Due to the air resistance, the resistance is determined by your intensity - the harder you pedal, the stronger the resistance and the higher the intensity. This allows you to burn a lot of calories in a short time and benefit from the after-burn effect.
